These are homes straight out of the movies. Picture perfect. Dream Homes. Robin can help make that dream yours. Robin is the independent representative for Timberpeg, the premier, post and beam home company.

Timberpeg homes range in size from a small addition to a full-scale restaurant or ski lodge. A Timberpeg home can be any style or design you want it to be. The centuries-old method of construction requires no load-bearing interior walls, the posts and the beams support the weight, thereby encouraging large, open spaces, soaring cathedral ceilings and more design flexibility than you thought possible. In addition, you get the natural beauty of wood and the elegant geometry of a timberframe. Timberpeg prides itself on providing strong, solid homes that are aesthetically pleasing.

Here is how it works…

Keep in mind that this is just a guideline and the steps and estimated time frames will vary based on individual needs.

The first thing you need to do is contact Robin and set up a meeting. With your ideas and Robin's know-how, together you will get a picture of what you want and what you can afford.

After you get a rough idea of what you want your new Timberpeg home to be, (this is where it starts to get exciting) Robin will put together some preliminary sketches, preliminary pricing and a preliminary timetable for completion of your new home. Everything up to this point could take from one to five weeks. Once you have seen Robin's sketches and have made any changes that you want, Timberpeg's design department takes over. Within two to six weeks, Timberpeg's designers will send you your home plans. This is when you and Robin will go over the plans and make any final revisions. Your final plans will be prepared for your approval.

Once the final plans are approved you will receive a Timberpeg Specifications Checklist listing all of the building components, contracted services, systems, finishes, and appliances you will need for your home.

With your plans and checklist you are ready to choose a builder. Robin can help your select a builder, (LINK TO BUILDER LIST ON ROBIN WEBSITE) but the ultimate decision on who will build your new Timberpeg home is your responsibility. Robin can also help secure building permits and financing (LINK TO MORTGAGE COMPANY PAGE) if you would like her to.

Once you have signed your Timberpeg contract and your ten-percent deposit for materials is received, Timberpeg will begin production of your home. Between four and eight weeks later your home will be delivered.

While Timberpeg is producing your home, your builder will have the site prepared and the foundation ready to accept the framing. Robin will coordinate with your builder on the timeline. Once the materials arrive, Robin will make sure everything is in order and construction of the frame should take between two and five days.

Depending on your home design, the rest of the construction will take between two and ten months. Robin will be on hand throughout the process to answer questions and solve problems.

If you think that a Timberpeg home is right for you, contact Robin today to set up a meeting to learn more about the process.
